The Queensland Government Solar Hot Water Rebate
Installing solar hot water can reduce your power bill by up to 25 per cent and save you hundreds of dollars every year.
Not only is solar water heating great for lowering your energy bills, but you'll be reducing your home's greenhouse gas emissions by around two tonnes every year.
Right now, the Queensland Government is offering a rebate to eligible households that replace their electric storage hot water system with a solar hot water system or heat pump.
You could be eligible for a:
- $1000 rebate (for pensioners and low income earners)
or
- $600 rebate.
